Greetings and good day!
Most every client I’ve ever had says “Yes, please!” when I ask if they could use more energy. Sometimes it’s an actual physical need when you’re dragging mid-day considering brewing more coffee or choosing a power drink that’s perhaps full of sugar. And many times, it’s a mental low indicating that our “chi” or personal power is sadly low.
What to do?
We’re all responsible for how we feel and each of us has a story that can make you cry. Tis life. No one escapes unharmed. Adding in a few of these key nutrients is a good place to start.
10 NATURAL TONICS TO INCREASE YOUR ENERGY
Ashwagandha in an Ayurvedic herb lowering our stress hormone cortisol by a whopping 28% and increasing our physical endurance by 7%. Learning, memory and reaction times are also increased.
Bee Pollen. My fav and a part of my daily routine for well over 20 years. Full of all your B vitamins to feed your nervous system plus it helps to bring oxygen to your cells boosting your red blood cells, physical energy and your mental acuity. Best taken during the day.
CoQ10: Necessary for heart health. If you are low on CoQ10 it may be because you take cholesterol lowering meds….and then your cells can’t product the energy they need
Beets: I love beets and take them in a powder form in my morning protein drink. They increase nitric oxide which increases blood flow and oxygen, clears the liver (lifting the mood) and allows us to exercise over 25% more.
Melatonin: Pretty much depleted by age 60 lowering every year after 20. Melatonin increases energy, lowers fatigue and helps us sleep deeper allowing our memories to properly store.
Green Tea: Known to increase stamina and endurance, allowing us to feel focused and alive. It’s a great natural energy shot.
Reishi Mushroom: Considered the “mushroom of immortality” you’ll experience and increase in “T Cells” that fight against cancer plus create more physical and mental energy.
Water: Like a wilted plant, many times all we need is a few glasses of water midafternoon. Our brain is 73% water so feed it! You’ll experience higher brain function plus increased alertness and concentration.
Exercise: Boosts our “feel good” endorphins -it’s almost impossible to feel crappy after our workout. The problems haven’t gone away, but our perspective is what changes. We are not as depressed, get that dopamine hit, increased self worth and our memory is sharper.
Cleanse your body-liver and colon. Watch in amazement as old debris leaves and a feeling of contentment arrives. When our liver is weak we are sad. When our colon is full, we are tired. Plus we remove heavy metals, toxins, parasites and candida in the process, and we are fresh and new physically and mentally!
I’m sure not giving medical advice here but SO many meds cause us to feel so heavy and overwhelmed. Too much sugar will do the same. Increase your fruits and veggies…. not exactly groundbreaking info. I took powdered greens for a long time just to ge them in.
